What Are QC Photos?
QC (Quality Control) photos are detailed inspection images taken by the warehouse team before your order is shipped. These photos show every angle of your product, including the front, back, sides, logos, stitching, and any special details.
The QC Process
After you place an order and the items arrive at the warehouse, the following happens:
- Items are unpacked and inspected for visible defects
- Multiple photos are taken from different angles
- Photos are uploaded to your account dashboard
- You receive a notification that QC is complete
- You review the photos and approve or request changes
What to Look For in QC Photos
When reviewing your QC photos, check these key areas:
- Logo placement – Check that logos are centered and properly sized
- Stitching quality – Look for even, consistent stitching
- Color accuracy – Compare colors with the product listing photos
- Material texture – Ensure materials look as described
- Size and fit – Check that the item matches your ordered size
- Overall construction – Look for any obvious defects or damage
Common Quality Issues
Common problems that buyers spot in QC photos include:
- Misaligned or crooked logos
- Poor stitching or loose threads
- Color differences from listing photos
- Incorrect materials or cheap substitutions
- Sizing errors
- Scuffs, stains, or packaging damage
Approving or Rejecting QC
If you are satisfied with the QC photos, approve the order for shipping. If you notice issues, you can request an exchange for the same item or a return. Be specific about what is wrong when requesting changes.
Exchanges and Returns
If you reject QC, the warehouse will attempt to exchange the item for a better version. If no replacement is available, you may be offered a refund or store credit. The process typically takes 3-7 business days.
